Opening Music of Praise:   “We Bring the Sacrifice of Praise”

Prayers of Confession and Prayers of the People:

     –Lift up to God prayers for those who are suffering.

     -Lift up prayers for those who are celebrating.   

     -Lift up to God prayers for those entering school and college.

     -Lift up to God prayers for those who wish they were entering school or college but can’t.

     -Lift all these prayers up to God.

Assurance of Pardon:

      Here the good news.  Christ is present with those who are experiencing great joy and Christ is with those who are experiencing great sorrow.  Christ is with those who suffer and Christ is with those who celebrate.  Whether we are excited right now or battling difficult emotions, Christ intercedes on our behalf.  For it is through the rise Christ that we know that we are forgiven and reconciled to God.  AMEN.
