My name is Letarshia Robinson and I’m the Youth Director at Allison Creek Presbyterian Church. I grew up on a fruit farm in Upstate New York, where the values of faith, family and hard work were woven into the fabric of who I am as a person.
I’m a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY, where I earned a B.S. in Elementary Education and English. After graduation, I delayed classroom teaching for a few years and engaged in travel across the U.S. and pursued God’s call to serve as a teaching missionary in Beijing, China.
In 2003, I moved to the Charlotte area where I taught in CMS. Shortly after moving to this area, I met and married my husband, Eric, who is also a teacher. While I no longer teach full time, I still enjoy helping children and families through the private tutoring company that Eric and I started. I love seeing children have “ah-ha!” moments with their learning.
I’m also a personal trainer, where I focus on helping women reach their health and fitness goals. It never ceases to amaze me when I see how God blesses women with strength and courage they didn’t know they had!
Recently, I graduated from Union Presbyterian Seminary with a M.A. in Christian Education. God is doing great things at ACPC, and I’m excited to be a part of that. I’m passionate about discerning ways to help people, especially young people, become more faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Please don’t hesitate to contact me!
