Allison Creek Presbyterian Church is one of the 11,000 congregations that make up the Presbyterian Church (USA).
We believe that everyone is welcomed into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and that NO ONE is shunned or excluded for ANY reason!
Presbyterians trace their roots back to the 16th century Reformation in Switzerland that was led by John Calvin. Our theology is based within the Reformed Tradition, which means that we believe Jesus Christ to be the complete revelation of God, and as such the center of our faith. We believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God. We believe that as Christ’s disciples we are to spread the good news of God’s present and future kingdom of peace and justice. We believe that men and women are called to all the ministries of the church including elders and pastors.
We have two sacraments: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
- In Baptism we are claimed by God as a child of God. We baptize infants, youth, and adults. We accept all baptisms administered with water and in the name of the triune God.
- We welcome all to the table for the Lord’s Supper including children.
