Children of Abraham is partnering with Winthrop University to create a chalk art mural on the theme “Peace and Unity in Our Community” on Monday, October 23rd from 11:30 am until sunset.
Come to the center of campus next to DiGiorgio Student Center. All ages are invited to participate. See Sam for more info.
Hurricane Relief Contributions
Hurricane relief contributions can be made through Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. You may pay by credit card at presbyterianmission.org or by calling 800-872-3283.
Contributions through the One Great Hour of Sharing offering are already being used.
Habitat for Humanity
ACPC is happy to host the Habitat for Humanity Care-a-Vanners again this year from October 6-21. We are expecting 7 units and 14 volunteers. We provide parking space for the RV’s, water, electricity, sewage pump out and meals for the volunteers while they are working in our community for two weeks.
If you are interested in providing an evening meal for the volunteers, please contact Lorre Coone at 803-493-4145. A sign-up sheet for the meals is in the sanctuary entrance. Thank you.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet on Wednesday, Oct 20th at 10:00 am at the home of Lucille Copeland.
