New Entrance Doors
We have received the new Custom Mahogany entrance doors to be installed soon at the church. Tommy Cook received a very generous anonymous donation for the doors (including installation), and David Coone is graciously (and professionally) staining and finishing them before installation. Jake Walden was kind enough to send a truck down to Montgomery, AL to pick them up at no cost!
We have since realized that good quality commercial grade hardware is almost as expensive as the doors.
The Men’s Group will be footing the majority of the costs for the hardware, but will be talking to other groups and individuals within Allison Creek to see if they would be interested in donating towards a portion of the costs (approx. $3400).
If you would like to donate, please communicate this to Mark Sleeper at 704-609-3135 or email@example.com, or place a check in the offering plate designated “Door.”
Thank you and to all who are making this project come to fruition!
Workdays are held on Tuesdays from 9 am – 12 noon. All are invited to share their time.
For more information, contact David Coone at firstname.lastname@example.org or 803-487-2052.
Items created from trees on the church property are available in the sanctuary entrance. Sale of these local crafts go to support Common Ground.
